The flamechasers were real people but the people in the Elysian realms were not. They were copies of the real flame chasers in a digital realm. The only surviving flame chasers are Griseo and hua. Kevin and su were alive but they died.

A not so Small detail but it's important to note that the flame chasers were in fact real people from the previous era, they all existed and all died long before the main character of that arc (raiden mei) encountered one of them...Kevin who introduced her to the sims of said flame chasers in the elysian realm. The sims cannot leave the realm but they all were essentially the exact same people as the originals. Like a save file so to speak...they were also tangible as far we knew so they're not just projections and that's why their characters were easy to get attached to since as long as ur within the location housing the elysian realm, they're effectively as real as the originals.

Hoyo won't do that again tho cause unfortunately the new fanbase in HSR doesn't have the capacity to consume sooo much lore. So hoyo most likely won't go with a route that demands u getting attached to 13 characters only to watch most of em die twice while still being compelling and condensed.

Knowing that HSR is the 4th game from the Honkai series, it's no surprise they'll make it similar to Flamechasers story. Also from the trailer, Amphoreus looks like it's shaped as the Mobius Strip. Meaning there might be a looping situation happening in the story

So, It may not exists, that's one theory. But, another theory is that Amphoreus was another planet from the same star sistem as Adlivun, so, after the ascent of Nanook, Amphoreus ended up decimated. That would also explain why the erudition and the remembrance are so interested about this world, it should not exist, but it still is there, as a memory left by the destruction.
