It's actually @ 6.5 inches because you placed the tape measure starting at 1, not 0.

IT HELPS TO CHAIN 1 AT THE END OF EACH ROUND TO GAIN ALTITUDE FOR THE NEXT ROUND. THE EDGES WON’T CURL.

What is the total length of the yarn you used? It's tangling when I just take it from the reel.. I'm just going to cut it.
