As a 49 year old Korean born in America, I’m still in disbelief that I’m seeing these two women as stars in Hollywood. So proud of them.

Hoyeon is so lucky because Squid Game was her first ever acting gig and look how far she's gone with all these exposure events that even actors who've worked for years do't get immediately. Love that for herrr

I’m just surprised abt how quickly Ho-Yeon has learned English . Just some time ago she needed a translator for her SAG acceptance speech

As a black woman, this conversation makes me so happy. Every community deserves to feel seen, represented and to have icons that mirror and reflect them. 🙏🏾

Watching Sandra Oh's face light up when Hoyeon mentioned that Grey's Anatomy was popular in Korea and that she watched the show was emotional to witness.

We need to see Hoyeon in more stuff. Her acting is so raw.

Ho-Yeon is such a bombshell. And her English is getting so good, there is no way that an American actor could be as fluent in Korean as she is in English. And I could feel her pain in the bathroom scene, she's an incredible actress.

Sandra Oh describing how she didn’t feel like she was taking care of her mental and physical health during Greys Anatomy, makes more sense on why she’s so adamant on not returning, I think Greys Anatomy is a representation of everything she doesn’t wanna do anymore for her health.

Hoyeon is so impressive. She went from being a model to debuting in one of the most popular netflix shows. She delivered such an amazing performanced and portrayed a character so well despite it being her first day on the job. Shes also so articulate and elegant in the way she speaks. All of her success is definitely deserved, hope her career continues on this high <3

Sandra is sitting there, like her mother, when her daughter is just talking to her…it’s like a normal conversation between a mother and her daughter…love it

And I love, how Sandra is speaking slowly sometimes, because of her

My favorite part of this conversation was when Sandra asked Hoyeon about her well-being and what she does to take care of herself. Her wanting to "relieve" Hoyeon of the pressure and responsibility as an emerging Asian talent was refreshing to see. Sandra is the perfect mentor (and "sunbaenim" figure) for Hoyeon and her growth mentality - wishing continued success for them both as a fellow Korean-American!
