I bought the white version and built it with the rear io pointing up, so the gpu stays vertical and i love how it looks! In this configuration the psu lays in the bottom but since i have a 2 fan gpu cables weren't a problem, and i mounted 4 case fans, 2 on each side of the case blowing fresh air directly on the gpu and the cpu cooler. I think that this case shouldn't be for a classic build, it allows you to free your creativity and do things other case can't

As a person with A bad case of impatience and ADHD I really like how strait and to the point you are. You talk at my brain speed which makes watching your video easy. Watching most other videos I get bored half way through and have to tab out. Well done!

Just built a system with this case and am very happy with it. The instructions are a bit scattered but far from as bad as some youtubers say, and honestly, if you can't build a case this simple, you might want to give a second thought about building your own system. The design, materials, paint and fit quality are excellent. It's compact and has huge breathing room (it's 07/07/2024 and mine already came with the higher flow dust filters). I did purchase fans for the bottom of the case to make it a positive pressure chamber. After my experience I bought three more for systems I'm building. If you want a very compact full ATX case with great configuration flexibility, I'd highly recommend the Qube 500.

Thanks for this. CM removed the manual from the product page and took down their Youtube playlist instructions so I was having a hard time understanding what configurations would work with my components. I was interested in this for the 20 Gbps USB-C and because they claim the case can be footed horizontally. I think a horizontal config with the perforated panel on top instead of the glass and some selective intake fans at the GPU and CPU would make for very good airflow.

I'm most curious about the supposedly 4x 3.5" HDD support. Where would these hdd be mounted?

even with the workaround, those psu cables pinned against the top panel do not look safe and id worry about my psu cables getting damaged over time or not sustaining a secure connection :( really thought the case was cute and loved that it was compact for an atx but looks like i gotta keep lookin for the right case for me

I suspect that if we are able to put a partition between the top of the GPU and the CPU, then there will be better directed flow with less turbulence. Then the path of fresh air in to waste air out will be straighter.
You wont have hot GPU air being used to cool the CPU, and also you wont have hot CPU air being used to cool the GPU.
Once it gets hot, it will go straight out without heating up the new fresh air.
I just need to get a panel that is non conductive so that I can install it to separate the 2 sections.

The specs say 173mm of clearance of the psu from first gpu slot. I have an huge psu of 180mm and a long gpu in front of it. Do you think it will fit with the tip of rotating the psu upside down or not ? My psu has slaved cables, and they can be bended... thank you.
