Build a parabolic mic from ordinary hardware, then transmit its sound to any FM radio.

I would've mounted just the microphones on the inside of the dish, while keeping the circuit on the outside - that might lead to a better focusing of the sound, since the PCB is not in the way.

Does Squirrel Baffle have truly parabolic shape?  I'd be surprised if it did... But nether-less very cool and fun project!

I notice that there seemed to be no attempt to establish the focal point of the reflector and place the microphone there - which is surely the most fundamental part of the design?! And why stereo when there is no stereo information from a distant point source of sound?

I haven't started this project, nor do I know if I'm going to, but I have a question that someone might be able to answer. If the device doesn't already do this, is there a way to limit the sound level so a loud noise won't blow out the headphones?
