I have iPhone 13 mini that I bought 2 years ago... if they make the SE just like the Mini with updated A18 processor, Im gonna buy it in a heartbeat. I really hate that they discontinued the mini series.

The SE is such an underrated phone. Great quality for the price point and I don't get worried about taking it to real work where it can break and get dirty.

iPhone “16e” would sound dated in 6 months. It will still be called the SE, unless they plan on releasing a 17e soon.

I take care of my iPhone and just buy the new SE "Special Edition" when released every couple of years. This saves money because you really don't need a brand new phone every year. That way I can alternate upgrading my iWatch, iPad, HomePod mini, and AirPods Pro. Geez Apple really does have us LOL

I vote for staying with the SE 4 name. It has a certain cachet at least for me.. I've bought SEs 1, 2, and 3 as well as the 4, 6, and 8. They work well for us older folk. I'm 81 but still working (by choice) and have kept up (more or less) with the tech I need to do my job. My pals and I joke that our phones keep getting smarter, we're going the other way. Also, most of use a tiny percent of the features, so the simpler the better. Further thought. Older people aren't going away. In fact they are beginning to be a growing demographic problem. No joke about that! so we're a growing market and one that appreciates a sub-$500 phone that's got the Apple quality. Last thought, when I left the PC world and bought a MacBook, I also purchased AppleCare. Apple support is right there with Vanguard, AMEX, and Amica insurance. You can't beat it.
