Thank God Maxon woke up at last and added a Shadow Catcher shader - but no thanks to Maxon for only including it in the Studio version! This should have been an essential, basic feature for any version.

MaMan it's fucking eight years later and you save a guys ass, yes me. Need to composit a car into a scene and didn't find any right solution for a good Shading. Thank you so much man

I cannot, for the life of me, get the image to show up in the perspective viewport.

Good and easy tutorial, but im want to render something with shadows on the floor, but without background and floor, just the objects and the sahdows on a invisible floor, to then compose it in a video in after effects with camera tranking... I tryed to put a compositing tag with "recieve sahdows" checked, and "visible by camera" unchecked, but what I get is just no floor and no shadows. What can I do? Help me please. Tank you so much
