Mexican actor Pablo Lyle gets prison for road rage
Pablo Lyle, a Mexican actor, was sentenced to five years in prison on Friday for involuntary manslaughter after fatally punching a man during a road rage incident in Miami in 2019.
Lyle was sentenced nearly four years after he was charged with murder in the death of a man he hit during a traffic incident.
The sentence was announced by Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez two months after she denied the actor's request for a new trial and upheld the jury's guilty verdict in October.
The 36-year-old Mexican telenovela star, who starred in the Netflix crime series "Yankee," faced up to 15 years in prison. The actor was also sentenced to eight years of probation, conflict resolution training, and 500 hours of community service by the judge.
