We used to read Animal Farm in school-- you know to teach critical thinking. Now people don't send their kids to school. Double speak is real. It's sad to watch what America is becoming.

And yet, he still voted for Trump in both 2016 and 2020.

Look, it's better having Kinzinger now than never, and I do think he's showing some measure of courage here. I think even Colbert showed a great deal of grace towards Adam as a guest, letting Adam get a lot said without grilling the man.

But are we supposed to just forget that he still helped build Donald Trump as President? It was only four years ago that he was where J.D. Vance is now, cozying up to the MAGA movement.

Mistakes are one thing, but his atonement might just be too little too late.

Trump had a strong chance to win another term and the first term never should have happened, to start with.

Still, somehow, I'm glad that at least _someone_ among what's left of the the Republican Party has some guts to say, "Enough."
