Join Church and Society staff for a discussion on the importance of civic engagement and our responsibility as people of faith to participate in the public square.

Participants will hear specifics regarding the separation of church and state, what it means to maintain hope in the midst of heightened divisiveness, and how to be an advocate for justice beyond the ballot.

Thank you, Aimee, Bishop Trimble and Rev. McBroom. I found the topics of this discussion to be important and valuble as we as Americans approach the 2024 national election in just 3 short weeks. As Bishop Trimble reminds us that at the end of the day God will still be God and the Church will still be needed and that our work will continue regardless of who will be elected. I greatly appreciate the thoughts and wisdom shared in this video. Peace!
