he was the player that kept everything together, he made space for miracle by fighting early, playing the hard lanes. pretty much just playing as a pos3 on pos1.
miracle was the win condition, but matu was the one getting them there.

That was such an epic run, with many close calls but somehow they made it all the way through the lowers to 3-0 Newbee in the finals.

And now the second TI win, also 3-0 versus Gaimin this time.. good times, was a sad day when Matu retired but the current Liquid roster is worth cheering for! 😁

Give Monet Morphling some credit for bouncing back that game and make it more interesting than the grand final itself. Guy lost his lane, bottom of the networth, still managed to carry the team.

Observe how better their play and drafting were when they were managed by liquid, one thing i learned is that playing under an org might mean less money but it sure as heck is worth it for players.
