Walmart doesn't want to pay for all of your PTO. I asked them for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off. Because my mom was gravely ill. They approved Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Not Friday. They say Friday was an unexcused absence. What kind of bull is that? That's why Walmart can't keep it's workers.

You're lucky...even now were I come from just to eat dinner requires at least 3 hrs of prep time not including cooking eating putting away dishes time it takes makes a much longer days and less time for self improvement...you're lucky

Pshhh You are lucky. My first job was $8/hr at the end of the recession when I started college and barely anyone was hiring those with no experience. Be grateful you are in America and have the choice of taking days off and get paid. People complain so much and forget they once had no options in the beginning. You could easily end up back where you were.

Well I’ll tell you what I’m in construction and I get PTO.
Trust me I use it for vacations.
If they want to let me go let them.
I’m union and I can find another job the same day….
I’m using mine.
