Mater Dei had Bryce Young who won the heisman and a ton of other college accolades. He’s currently expected to go #1 overall pick in this upcoming 2023 draft. Dude is a machine. He practically took on Georgia’s defense single-handedly.

The bottom line is the top two teams other than Bosco played and MD had to drive down 80 yards with 3 minutes to go and did it. They both are super talented. Their were at least 15 future NFL players on that field. I was there in person and I've been watching high school kids play a long time. This was a college game, No regular high school has a chance against this much talent period. Great game kids!

IMG was 1 dimensional. Heavy downfield running attack but no QB play and no Receiver to stretch the field. Mater dei had the QB and Receiving core to open up the field. In my unbiased opinion, i also thought that IMG got out coached by Mater Dei Coach. In all hell of a game.

IMG lost cause of the coaching, both teams needed to score on short time and MD moved the sticks and got it done while IMG goes deep with two yards to go and loses. The better team won the game

IMG is a great team, but they shouldnt have relied so heavily on #'s 6&7. Mater Dei utilized a host of different players which IMO proved to be the deciding factor in their win.
