New metal detecting shovel

I won one on a raffle Sid. Does well out in the field. In wet conditions, the mud doesn't half stick to it, especially the serrated edges. Other that a T handle instead of a D handle, its a great tool. Not sure I'd pay full price for one to be fair, when I'm used to a normal stainless steel spade.

Now there’s a nice shovel! The handle adjustment is great. Like to know if the handle stays solid. We get so excited when we get out new toys lol! Have fun— Char😊

Did you prepare the evening meal with it first before you took it out for a field test ? Looks like it would be good against anything with an attitude problem. Should dig well too 😁😁👍🦘

It’s got a built in bottle opener too I am really impressed

The blade looks like it will plough through any thing and dig up the M1
But telescopic handle worries me especial at full extend. Bouncine off rock hard ground and levering. I think with a heavy handed oaf like me it wont last. Give it hell sid. Wasp & helen 🐝😷

I use this shovel, it’s solid, taking a bit to get use to the t handle but a lovely bit of kit

I've always wanted to get into metal detecting as I love history.I think I'm going to have to buy one, Anything you recommend for someone wanting to buy their first metal detector

I just don’t see the point in making it look like a combat spade the serrations will pick up huge clumps of mud making the spade heavy not to mention the damage it would do to a find can’t beat the ten pound micro spade
