10:00 As a Spanish speaker, every time I listen to these reggaeton songs with autotune, I don't understand anything they say, and they all sound the same to me.

32yr old guy here and Sabrina Carpenter would normally be the farthest thing from what I'm into, but I tried out Short N' Sweet after Shazamming a couple of the tracks when I heard them on the radio. I shaved it down to 6 tracks for a playlist and I've listened to it loads of times. Some of the best pop tracks I've heard in ages, all kinds of interesting little things going on in there. I'd put the whole lot in the top 10 for this year.

"Please Please Please" & "Coincidence" are especially great.

This might just be my favorite Rick Beato reaction video ever. I think a lot of people take music reviews too seriously and get mad at the reviewers for making fun of the songs. It’s refreshing to see Rick reacting casually and making fun of his own reactions, not taking himself deadly seriously, just having fun.

While not my cup of tea, GENERALLY speaking, I think Bruno Mars is a genuinely talented guy for real MUSIC. The fact that he and Lady Gaga made a track together makes sense too. She has talent and a great ear too.

This year's top is much better than some years past. Actual songs, instruments and vocals have "room to breathe" instead of just pedal to the floor 100% of the time. Actual musicianship.
