i would say concrete buildings, streets, parking lots, dark shingle roof tops.... when im in town the temp is as much as 10 degrees warmer in the summer than at my home 25 miles away in the country. its a small town really chattanooga (Chat ta noo ga ) : ) for the ones who say it wrong.... All the other in my opinion stuff is certain Government groups driven to manipulate and make a crap load of money off of their investments in the new green business .... Look into what Al Gore did , see the strategy involved ...received grants from the white house to make a documentary which turns out was a infomercial for his investments .... even was given another million dollars for the nobel prize ... Sold all the green companies he started prior to this infomercial and walked away with over a billion LIke saying to his self , Suckers, i got you back. THen a few days later, Our president at the time said, lets start looking at this green stuff again.... I think green investments for these political leaders are a different green than implied, this is my just opinion and intuition. The best way to get the population thinking what you want is to have the universities and schools teach it or they will cut off funding like we heard the blackmailing from the former I think its a terrible thing to hold a knife to the peoples throat to get what you want ...that should be grounds for being kicked out as well as out and out dishonesty to get a bill passed. I luv the outdoors and always have .... i luv the weather and study it ... I really dont believe nasa because of its the government and will say what ever it is told to get the agenda done.. I dont like dishonesty, using others or fooling people ....i dont like a leader who is afraid to sign on the dotted line... afraid to do what needs to be done because of press or what others think , that's a politician, not a leader ... i am a leader when i need to be, i've signed on the dotted and will continue if it comes around again...

Carbon is an element, we don't make it. In fact carbon dioxide is plant food, Carbon Dioxide is is not the primary greenhouse gas, not even close. In fact the warming effect of carbon dioxide declines as its concentration increases. CO2 rose after the WW2 but the temperature fell.
Historically, colder temperatures lead to famine and death, warmer temperatures lead to human advancement. The more advanced the civilization, the more priority, resources, time and effort is given to protecting the environment. If you can't stay warm and put food on the table you don't really care so much about airborne particles. Be careful what you wish for.

Of the last 10.000 years, 6100 of them were warmer than today, some of them much much warmer. For most of Earths history it was 10 degrees C or 18 degrees F warmer than today.
BTW, Mount Pinatubo put more CO2 and SO2 in the upper atmosphere in two days than man has since the beginning of the industrial revolution. Maybe your efforts should be directed to stopping volcanic eruptions!
