I've been painting my nails for about 4 years now, and in my opinion I can do just as well as a licensed nail technician.
It really just takes practice and a lot of patience.

I never thought about applying polish as being difficult...until I met people who couldn't do it...which was a strange concept to me! But there really are people who just cannot paint nails🤔 Just goes to show, everyone's different & things that come naturally to one person are completely foreign to another!

You forgot to mention to look for polishes with fanned bristles because if you have cheap polishes the bristles are thick and theres no movement. A good polish brand will have a u shape for its bristles and they are wide and tapered, they are also super flexible and have the flexibility of hair like synthetic thin strands. If youre using cheap polish make sure to use a better brush or avoid dollar polishes or use a synthetic painting brush. This video was awesome thanks guys. 💞💞💞

I have shied away from regular polish because I was unable to do it nice enough before it would start to dry. For that reason I've always gone with gel polish. This video is a complete game changer. Thank you so much for breaking down something that seems like it should be so simple without making me feel like I'm not good enough to be doing nails if I couldnt use regular polish. ❤️

I also thing getting new polish brushes will help, usually a brush is long and straight and incredibly hard to reach side edges and the cuticle area without bleeding over. Switching to a wider and curve tip (shown in the video) can help with getting close to the cuticle without any bleeding helps. Especially if your left handed and brushing someone elses hand.

When I started watching your video I thought, ‘this is stupid, who doesn’t know how to polish nails?!!!’ I have been doing my nails for years and am complimented daily how pretty they are and how they love the color. BUT!!! You taught me a couple of things!!! I’m shocked!! Using the brush with polish remover blew my mind!! Also, using the brush and remover to fix the nail on the side, I never thought of doing that!! I do apply my polish up to the cuticle and wondered why someone would want that space open after a manicure? So your tutorial taught an old dog new tricks!! Lol.
