New Zealand Stamps with Royals: unpacking. [Ep2]

I unpack, show and discuss pre-decimal New Zealand stamps depicting British monarchs - Queen Victoria, Kings George V and VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. These stamps were taken from the bulk lot kiloware I recently bought and which I showed to you in my previous video.

Hi Charnia, just a tip...look out for postmarks esp. on the older stamps. Most of the post offices will have disappeared. At 14.11 you show a nice cancellation from Feilding, probably not rare but worth keeping intact. Any postmarks from small towns and villages are worth keeping. (BTW, love the Chopin Nocturne 😀)

Kia ora, my mum had been given a stamp collection, from a ol fulla that use too work at our local dump. She has past away😢 5yrs ago. And everytime i look at them reminds me of her.

I have really enjoyed your 'novice' journey. Love your enthusiasm, this is from a collector of over 40 years. For your information... there are 12 (old) pennies to a shilling and 20 shillings to a pound or 240d (pennies) This was the same in Sth Africa, Rhodesia, Australia, early Canada, NZ and etc!! I have heaps of these stamps, the yellow / orange george is annoying to see after a while stamp collecting in nz. I wonder if you have an idea of value? For these. Would be good to hear more.
