11/03/2011 & 2/12/2017 stand out for some reason to me. So much to think about, let alone digest in the span of 13 years and some change, it’s hard to pinpoint any one or two things. 87 different times where it stands out to most. To me, I think about the 1, 000’s of runs, workouts, tears, sweat, and blood that result in the number most focus on. With good reason I look at the broader spectrum, and more than see a woman on her bday trying to get through a few more races with the pressure, tenacity, frame of mind, humility, balance, determination, hunger, and so much more to get out there when it’s so EZ to get complacent, relax, yet not a word in your vocabulary (complacency), but so much more to stay present in each and every moment to enjoy it all.
