Klangphonics are a trio that produce and perform live electronic music. By using a combination of electronic elements and acoustic instruments, they bridge the gap between producer and live band.

This results in a very natural, organic sound, whilst still retaining the energy associated with deep house and melodic techno.

Onstage drums, guitar and diverse percussion are blended with synths and sequencers, creating a performance that works as well in a club as it does in concert.

For anyone unfamiliar with it, the term "Holocene" refers to the current geological epoch, which began at the end of the most recent ice age, in about 9, 700 BCE. It is sometimes referred to as the "Human Era". The first known stone buildings and megaliths (in Boncuklu Tarla and Göbekli Tepe, in southeastern Turkey) have been dated to the start of this period (about 9, 500 BCE); and its start was characterized by the spread of agriculture, growth of our population, and extinction of most terrestrial megafauna.

From what I can hear, the lyrics of this song seem to be "Holocene, we", and "Holocene, see us". Taken together, it seems to be an invitation to reflect on the current era as one that we humans have created. The intention seems to be to frame our collective development over this era as a sacred expression of the universe. It encourages us to see ourselves as part of something greater, and perhaps to reflect on what we've developed that's valuable over the past 12, 000 years, the effect we've had on the world, and maybe even how we should try to focus our energies to shape the direction of our future development.
