The radio callouts always break me down. I can get through a funeral okay but when you say “end of watch” I can’t contain it anymore

I managed to keep it together throughout the service, however, at this part i broke down. This is what made me lose it. Especially when the bagpipes went, man, it hit me hard. RIP Deputy, We got the line from here.

We watched the live stream of the service and were solemn until this...We could not - and still can not - get through this part. This was a powerful and deeply humbling service. The "End Of Watch Call" portion gets us every time. In light of Deputy Parrish's sacrifice, I ask myself: "Have I done enough?"

Thank you for posting this. Though I did not know him, I am still greatly saddened by this tragic loss of a brave man on duty. My family and I mourn with you and honor his sacrifice, as well as the sacrifices of his fellow 1st responders. God bless you all. We proudly Back the Blue 💙💙💙

I love listening to these even if it makes me cry I just want everyone to know before you call a police officer a bad name think about what they got through they go to work not knowing if it’s going to be there last day or if they are going back home to their families this is why I listen to these it reminds me every day to respect our police officers and to always thank our boys and girls in blue for their job they do for us and keeping our community safe.

Rest in Peace brother.. So long as there are others who continue to wear the badge, you never will be 10 - 7. You are now free to report for duty patrolling the peaceful streets of Heaven. You have earned it brother. You leave behind a Community who appreciates the sacrifice that you and your family have given. Enjoy your new duty station
