Ryobi* The Ryobi model used in this video is the top rated model available, but it has different advertised torque numbers depending on the country of sale. In the country of purchase it is rated, as stated on the box to be able to deliver up to 300Nm (2655in-lbs) of torque, whereas in the US it is advertised as 2200in-lbs (250Nm) of torque. Whichever one you go by, the numbers are still fanciful.

Had to comment just for the outro song - thank for the effort you put into Makita content - I have just got the DTD172 in the UK. Makita's ergonomics are head and shoulders above Dewalt and Milwuakee on the vast majority of tool categories.

Hikokis multi volt platform is slowly starting to become attractive. it's looking better and more reliable than Failvolt.

Thumbs up.

I have had the Bosch Freak Gen 1 and I have the latest one showcased in this video. Honestly, if you do some car work the ease of just swapping between sockets and different bits is just so much of a game changer. Sure it's slower and not as powerful as others, but the ease of versatility tops other metrics in my case.

Also some solid piece of equipments. They have been through considerable abuse and pretty much all I had to change was that socket locking ring and orange rubber on the gen 1.

Congratulations on the comparison, unlike other channels that put the machine on a pressure sensor, you really test in practice how each machine acts, and show the real performance.

Looked like a lot of editing for “& Stuff’ this week also are we “enablers” for your tool addiction?

DeWalt has really turned the ship around with their drills and impacts. The DCF850 has been solid, yet I'm looking forward to the 870.

Great review, love the new animations. One thing you missed, Milwaukee has One key which can also customize your settings but sold as a separate tool.

I run the gen 3 Milwaukee. If I were to run multiple platforms Id get a hikoki triple hammer, really like that one too

The Bosch tools generally have a sizable performance gain with CORE batteries in my experience. The triple hammer is my go-to though

Our company has always ran Makita, and their impacts are absolute beasts. The new 40v feels like it is corded

Great comparison. Every tool that I own is Makita, I am still on the 18v platform because they still meet my needs, especially with my homemade batteries.
It's to bad that Panasonic is lacking in power, I like the design and looks of it, I would probably buy one if it was not so limited in performance, it might still be a good driver for cabinet makers that don't need to drive large fasteners.

Own Dewalt 20v and Milwaukee M12. Love them. Tried my friend’s Makita and I really loved it. I really want to try the Hikoki Triple Hammer, heard that it is one of the smoothest impact on the market.

I have a gen 3 Milwaukee and it's a brute. I daily a Makita these days for its more linear trigger.

Brilliant video, like the little bits of extra details like the chucks, small thing but honesly such a bugbear to have to two hand it to get a bit in.

Would love if you chucked in a real cheapie like an Ozito from the big green shed to see if it can overtake some of the weaker performers.

I bought into AEG before I was doing much DIY and now that I do a lot more I am still happy with them, comeptitive with the big 3 and good prices.
Slowly expanding our their range nicely too
