The British East India Company seized Bengal in 1757 by force. Then the British forced the peasantry to handover their produce and engineered a famine in 1770 that killed a third of the population. Following that, there were 24 famines between 1850-1899 in different parts of the country, where tens of millions of people killed. From 1765 to 1938, Britain extracted 45 trillion pound sterling from India, which was effectively the down payment for the Industrial Revolution. In 1700, India had 25% of the world’s GDP. By 1950, they had only 4%. In 1943, during the WW II, Winston Churchill diverted food from Bengal to Britain, resulted in 3 million Indians deaths. When India got independent from the British, the literacy rate was just 14%.

From the late 17th century to the 18th century, Britain smuggled opium into China to dope the population, a strategy to turn around a huge trade deficit, after the British could not find enough silver to pay the Qing government in their tea and porcelain trades. After opium was destroyed in salt water and ports were closed by the Chinese in ordered to curb opium, the British started the Opium War I, which China lost. Hong Kong was forced to be surrendered to the British.

After 12 years, the British got really greedy. They demanded the Qing government: 1) To open the borders of China to allow goods coming in and out freely and tax free. 2) Make opium legal in China. After being rejected, the British and French, with support by the USA, started Opium War II with China, which again, China lost. The Anglo-French military raided the Summer Palace, an estimated 150, 000 pieces of historic treasures with a 1900-year span from the first Qin Dynasty up to the Qing Dynasty were raided and many ended up in the British Museum in London.

After the Summer Palace was burned down in 3 days, the Anglo-French military then threatened to burn the Imperial Palace. The Qing government was forced to pay with free trade ports, 300, 000 kilograms of silver and the Kowloon district north of Hong Kong Island was taken. Since then, China’s resources flew out freely from the free trade ports. In the subsequent amendment to the treaties, Chinese people were sold overseas to serve as labor, famously known as “piglet labor”.

Britain, a tiny country, turned the two biggest economies in the world into poverty stricken slumps. China and India co-existed for 4000 years without problems. Buddhism originated in India and widely adopted in China. China sent Buddhist monks to India to learn Buddhism from India. When the British were preparing for India’s independence, ambiguities were left behind at the borders between China and India, and since then, they became the points of conflicts between China and India, including a war at the border in 1962.

The British colonized my country Malaysia in 1786. During WW II, when the Japanese came to Malaya, the British fled the country, and the Malayan fighters were left behind to fight a guerrilla warfare with the Japanese in the jungles. After the Japanese surrendered, the Malayan fighters went back to towns. Then the British returned to Malaya, surrounded the towns and mass murdered them.

The British empire was succeeded by the American empire, in a continent taken from the natives by mass murdering them. The Holocaust cost 30% of Jewish lives, but it’s trivial compared to the 98% natives wiped out in North America. With just 4% of world’s population, America has dominated the world. There are many reasons for the two empires successes. But one thing stands out: hypocrijsy.

Just look at how America loot the world under the liberalism flag. How it raided the Middle East countries for oil and control, under the name of peace keeping. How it murdered millions of Muslim in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria and now making fake stories of China treating the Uyghurs badly. How it got 1 million Iraqi killed with just a sample of washing powder for American oil companies and the Military Industrial Complex to make a fortune. How it put sanctions on countries to starve the people so that they turn against their governments. How it prints money out of nothing and exports inflation to the world. How the IMF and the World Bank created debts to other countries without giving back meaningful infrastructures. How the CIA covertly supported terrorist groups Al Qaeda in Syria and in Kosovo, the ETIM in Xinjiang and Nazis militia Azov Battalion in Ukraine, while pretending like the world police. How it used depleted uranium in the Iraq war, agent Orange in Vietnam war, phosphorus bomb in Fallujah and carpeted 35% of Laos land area with unexploded ordnance (UXO). How it carried out tortures in Guantanamo concentration camp and in Abu Ghraib prison. How it carried out drones strikes which caused 90% civilians death, and took that as just collateral damage. How it used proxy forces to divide-and-conquer the world: Iran-Iraq, Iran-Saudi, Serbia-Kosovo, Russia-Ukraine, Europe-Russia, India-China, China-Taiwan, India-Pakistan, Greece-Turkey, Gaddafi-NTC, Maduro-Guaido, Putin-Navalny, Al Assad-The Kurds, etc. How it sidelines the UN with its own “Rule based international order” with itself the sole rules maker and the only judge, while other countries just followers of the rules. How it turn our world upside down with the armada of mainstream media, while suppressing truths by independent journalists and jailing war crime critics like Julian Assange and Daniel Hale. How it overthrew democratically elected governments by orchestrating coup d’état, color revolution and assassinations through covert CIA/NED/USAID operations, acting like a dictator while preaching democracy around the world.

India and China do not need to kiss each other before saying good night, but at least do not fight. I hope they understand this is the perfect time for the Global South to break free from Western neo-colonialism. Asia shall never be bullied again!

History reminds us that wars aren't always prompted by intentions but by miscalculations. Despite their intricate dance of geopolitics, India and China understand the heavy price of conflict in an interconnected world. Let wisdom triumph over ambition and dialogue triumph over discord.

Bharat's non-invasive policy hasn't worked well after the times of Samrat Ashok and later the Cholas. Cholas were the last ones to my knowledge who went about expanding India's borders. Ranjit Singh is another one who comes to mind (to a much smaller extent though).
In this world, either you are expanding or you are contracting. And Akhand Bharat has contracted to only Bharat since we stopped expanding. And we have been shrinking further with China's salami slicing, Christianization and Islamization of Bharat.
So, in other words, playing only defence doesn't work. One has to play offence. And as Bharat becomes stronger, we should look at capturing Tibet and other parts and at the same time, eliminate communism, Christianity and Islam from our lands.

Already given in Matsya Purana and utilized by Kautilya (Chanakya) is साम दाम दंड भेद for this very purpose.
1. साम: First explain the benefits of your rule to your target;
2. दाम: If they don't agree, then try to buy their lands;
3. भेद: If they don't agree, blackmail a country to hand over its lands because we know their critical weaknesses (BRI / OBOR comes to mind);
4. दंड: Fight a country to take over their lands. This is the last resort.

China has done it successfully in annexing Xinjiang, Tibet, South Mongolia and South China Sea. Also, Hambantota port and Pakistani assets. Now trying with Taiwan.

This nonsense about India being a nutral or neutered country has to stop. - 1841- the sino- sikh war, the Sikhs under Gulab Singh of Jammu, attacked Tibet, but lost due to the weather, and signed a treaty where Ladakh belonged to the Sikhs. In the 8th century, Lalitaditya Muktapid the Kashmiri monarch, defeated the Tibetans and according to Kalhana, Kashmiris celebrated the second day of Chaitra to mark Lalitaditya's victory over the Tibetans, bringing Tibet under Kashmiri rule.

Both us Indians and Indian Government should work for stability, integration and development of Northeast Indian states, whatever bad things and ignorance that has happened in past should be stopped and overcome, otherwise China can use radicals in NE for its own benefit and this will hurt our fellow brothers and sisters of NorthEast, India as a country and us also.
Stay United, Jai Hind🇮🇳

India is already in a war with china
Only issue is Indians have not realized it yet
This current war is an economic and technological war which is a precursor to the hot war
Indians still have not understood the Chinese game plan yet
The bureaucracy still lives in babudom and Nehruvian socialism with a few exceptions

There will be no war between China and India. India's main conflict is not border dispute, China is the same. The apparent border dispute is just for show to the Americans. Because if all the countries around China do not show their hostility to China, the United States will pressure or punish these countries. Moreover, these countries benefit greatly from this pendulum. So, Indians have not yet figured out what is propaganda and what is essence.

It is not China's national interest to push India towards the US camp. It's also true the other way around. China has settled border issues with Russia under the spirit of cooperation for mutual benefits. That can very much happen in the India-China case. BRICS can be a platform to that end. Small countries of the global south count heavily on these two ancient civilizational great nations.

The problem of India is that we're not aggressive on our borders. We let Rohingya breach our borders. We need to be aggressive in a balanced way.

China has no logically reason to get into a conflict with India. My guess is, that we will be fine. There is more than enough other stuff on the plate. :)

If the Chinese try doing what they've done so far, India should try to take atleast some parts of the areas leading to the Karakorum highway and cut it off if possible.

Your conclusion that it is not in China's interest to have war with India is correct. However, your reasons are overly influenced by Western/US media bias. For instance, China's economy grew by 6.3% in the first quarter of this year.

The Galwan incident has already made a huge impact. India has started to align with the USA with increasing rapidity since then, whether or not anyone in the government actually admits to it.

The poverty-stricken China crossed the border and fought the almighty US led UN in the Korean war during the winter. The soldiers knew it was a suicide mission.

I remember Wang Yi said something like, "we were brave at that time because we had nothing to lose. But now we have an economy. The situation changed, and we should use diplomacy to deal with the US this time."

China (and most countries) doesn't fight because they are stronger, China fight when they think they have nothing to lose. Look at the Taliban, you really don't want to fight those people.
