How to hard reset Realme C1

Realme C1 hard reset or factory data reset settings:
1. Switch off or power off your realme C1 smartphone
2. Press and hold together both power key and volume down key
3. Choose language in the screen displayed
4. Select wipe data
5. Select wipe all data
6. Draw pattern if it is asked
7. Wait for few seconds until your realme c1 data to be erased
8. Click reboot option now
9. That's all. You have done hard reset or factory data reset in your Realme C1 smartphone
10. Start using your phone.

Please I need help here I did the same steps but when I want to restart my phone again it went back to factory reset options again and I'm so confused

I've been having storage problems with my Realme c1, I think it's the old update files that I can't remove if I reformat it will it remove them?
