Undertale - Omega Flowey Boss Fight

Strangely enough I got to beat Flowey on my first try, I gotta say, I enjoyed this fight so much.

9:00 God I love how Flowey starts off slow due to the shock of you actually fighting back, but as soon as the shock fades away, he goes from incredibly slow back to full power in a desperate attempt to kill you. The music reaches its peak, causing you to feel like this is a fight where you could actually win instead of a pitiful fight for survival. This game truly is Tobey's masterpiece.

I love how you can tell the exact point Flowey realises he can't win, when his pain sound changes from the sort of mocking "oh" he had before to a desperate grunt.

I like how flowey still goes “Oh!” Like he’s still mocking you after you do serious damage as a pitiful attempt as a bluff even though you still see the pain on his face when he gets hit

In my opinion this is one of the best boss fights in gaming history because at the beginning you have this unusual feeling that you have lost everything. At the start of the boss you feel like you’re going to die the whole time until the other human souls arrive giving you some hope to survival. At the end of the fight you feel like you’re gonna die but because the souls heal you it gives you that tiny bit of determination to survive and the soundtrack at the end motivates you to keep going and when i played it for the first time, it was a feeling I couldn’t explain and i still can’t explain it to this day

If I’m going to be Honest, For me this was one of the most intense fights in the game. The music hits hard too.

Omega flowey's fight gives me a huge "standing up to the bully" feel. Specially after you free all of the souls and they help you in the final part of the fight.

If anyone still hasn't figured out how Omega Flowey got all his life back after being defeated, well I'll give you a short answer, have you noticed "FILE 3 SAVED" (2:51) in the corner? Well, that's the one he uses when he ends, Flowey already had everything prepared from the beginning

I like how when flowey defense drops to zero and you attack him he makes an “ow” sound but the moment his healthbar is at the halfway point he starts making sounds like he’s in absolutes pain and desperately trying to kill you

Best fight in the whole game. The music fits so well. And the sound effects when you hit him, how they go from mocking to actually painful
