I was about to call my dealer when I couldn't find the buttonholer! Then I remembered: I saw a video of another machine where the buttonholer was in an unusual place. I explored...and there it was with a few other things!

Congratulations on your wonderful, new baby. You're going to absolutely love the back stitch and cut the thread feature. It took me a little while to remember to use it. And on my bobbin situation, even when I don't push, ok, it still stops every few seconds. I have the Brother Stellaire embroidery machine, so when I'm almost done with a color and I know there's enough to finish, 😮 yes, it gets annoying. So your camera is perfect even though I thought it was good before. 😊

Thanks for the review Raven. When you mentioned the bobbin alerts, I was triggered. It was my biggest pet peeve with my Beenetter when I switched from my started Singer machine. Glad to know I wasn’t crazy lol I like playing thread chicken, just keep sewing lol

My Husqvarna Viking has a bobbin alert which I love! You can sew through the alert as long as you don’t hit “ok”.

Not sure if this works for your lovely machine but on my Pfaff you can continue sewing when the message pops up. Do not press ok. Just keep going. If you press ok you will keep getting reminded. Thanks for sharing. Congratulations to you. It’s so sad having to get rid of or put away your old one when you love it also. A new machine is awesome though

BOBBIN ALERTS? I LOVE THAT! THAT FUNCTION IS A SELLER FOR ME! I WOULD LOVE TO PURCHASE THIS! COOL MACHINE! THIS WILL BE A WONDERFUL UPGRADE FOR ME. (I HAVE A MEASLEY SINGER 4411HD) IF I HAD SOME MONEY I WOULD BUY THIS MACHINE! NOW THE ONLY THING I WON'T USE IS THE KNEE LIFT THINGEE.

Congratulations on your new machine. When I got my new one, I had the same problem of where is my buttonhole foot? Never had a machine that had a back door. Just to let you know that you weren’t the only one saying “duh”.

Congratulations! Yes, you can turn the bobbin sensor off. I keep mine on unless I have just a bit more seam to sew and then turn it off. The dials are awesome—you’re not being silly at all—it’s so much more efficient. Funny you mentioned the sound…in your last video I watched I noticed the difference in sound right away and thought “oh, I’ll bet thats a MemoryCraft 9480!”Have fun with your new machine!

Congratulations on the new machine. Always exciting! I too couldn’t find my buttonhole foot due to the nooks and crannies in the on board storage for a Juki I purchased 10 years ago. I felt kind of silly when I finally ‘found’ it. I was the one that was lost😂.
