Last stop in Lyon was at Restaurant La Mère Brazier, a Two Michelin Star. Eugénie Brazier is one of the culinary legends in France and arguably the first woman to receive Three Michelin Stars. Paul Bocuse was her apprentice. Highlights were the crab and Osetra caviar, Croustillant Brochette with Crawfish, Petits Légumes and Nantua Sauce, and Soufflé au Grand-Marnier. She is a legendary Mere Lyonnaise (Mother of Lyon) who pioneered exquisite Lyonnaise and French cuisine.
