'Exploring Dún Aonghasa' with Eithne Verling
Eithne Verling, Museum Director, is co-curator of the Galway 2020 exhibition MONUMENT at Galway City Museum. In this workshop Eithne explains what archaeology is and outlines some of the tools and techniques used by archaeologists. She also explores some of the archaeological objects found at Dún Aonghasa on Inis Mór, Co. Galway and explains how what these discoveries tell us about life in Bronze Age Ireland.
