Good thing there are never any earthquakes in the Bay Area, otherwise, I might be worried.

Trying to fix the Millennium Tower is like replacing an airliner's wing while the aircraft is still flying.

I can’t imagine how much kick backs Newsom, Supervisors, and Planning Department got back when they started building this monster? Now all of SF is bailing out Millionaire Condo Owners for this mess….

It needs to be torn down and rebuilt from the foundation up.

They'll let it fall over trying a bunch of stupid cheaper fixes though

The builder the condo buyers the city all knew or approved the original plan NOT to bore into the bedrock from the start.
All culpable

The solution is simple. Build another Millenium Tower in par, and tilt it towards the collapsing tower, that way they either support each other or fall inwards as a marvelous masterpiece.

Hamburglar strikes again. It's going to be catastrophic when it falls. Take it down for goodness sake.

The city authorities say it is perfectly safe to continue to live in the tower, so that should convince everyone...

3 inches at the bottom is nothing compared to when you see the amount of travel and lean at the top. Are they just measuring the sinking rate at ground level? I imagine the amount of pressure created just from tilting is enough to make every resident within the collapse radius start stockpiling some depends.

Old adage - It always costs more to fix it than to do it right in the first place. Pennywise and dollar foolish.

Imagine if everyone in the building went to the low side and began rocking knees?

Hamburger is a spokeshole, he's old, are they going to sue HIM when he's DEAD? The corruption on this matter is epic.

A typical California building issue, ping pong, blame shifting, and trying to shore up a failing system. Best advice for the people in the building, "Get out, leave California, and find a better place to live/work/stay."

THE Elevator shafts prerequisite standards-based meticulous calculations do not allow for these variables.
They know the stress this is causing to the system.
3 inches per year folks?
The building is falling
Wake up

They are in denial. It’s time to take it down and rebuild a new tower. It’s a dangerous situation. Let it go.

Demolish it. Again no matter what you are mickey mousing the thing…here it goes, engineer blaming the contractor for not carrying out his INTENTIONS….PLUS they have attorneys involved now...its far more lucrative for them to prolong the process than solve it.
