I’ve used Drops Belle in 4 different projects so far. I love it! It slides well on metal needles and didn’t cause any strain on my hands. It is machine washable (I put my garment in a zipped mesh bag to avoid it getting twisted). I air dry my garments. My sweaters are all so soft and easy to wear. It does stretch out a bit so consider making your neckline smaller than you think you want. Such a great yarn!

I think I may give this yarn a try. I use mainly pure cotton yarn due to the hot climate I live in. But cotton doesn't hold up very well because of the colours fading so maybe a cotton linen blend may hold up better in the long run.

I love drops Belle. The only issue I have is that the small skeins require more frequent joins and they are visible in this yarn so I would suggest ordering and extra or 2 so you can join at side seams. I've made the After the Rain and it's one of my favorite sweaters in the warmer months. It's got some drape too so it hangs really nicely.

I knit Heidi Kirrmaier's "After the Rain" with this yarn. I was delighted with my summer jumper. The yarn really suited the pattern.

I like your reviews - the simplicity, the consistency. If I could make one recommendation, when it comes to availability, please do not mention Amazon as a source. Why? The yarns posted on there are so outrageously overpriced, so it should not be a source for knitters...so many other sites are much more reasonable. Thank you.
