AGM THERMAL SCOPES

The TS19-256 and TS25-256 are nearly identical AGM thermal scopes, with one major difference. The focal length of the front optical. As a result, the TS25 has a narrower field of view than the TS19. In this video, I show you side-by-side comparisons of the two at various distances between 50-200 yards.

Great video. Right now PSA has these 2 thermals on sale for their black Friday deals. The TS19 is $799, and the TS25 is $999. I am so glade if found your video. My Christmas gift this year was going to be a thermal and these seem fine for my application. Its about time they have an affordable Thermal alternative that is decent quality and function. I saw some of your other videos and your channel is right up my ally. Anyways I subscribed to you today. Once again Thanks for the comparison.

Nice video! Just purchased the TS-19 to have a better field of view in my backyard for coyotes 100 yards and under. Also other small rodents.

No one ever talkes about max magnification or shows zooming in at 100-150 yards. Why is that? What is the max magnification of the TS19-256 vs the TS25?

I have the 19. It’s good. Keep in mind your heat signatures especially during the day may be very different then seen here depending on outside temps and surroundings. The colder the day the better for daytime thermal.

Great vid! The only thing is on-screen it shows the 19 at 2.5X and the 25 at 3.5X, so maybe that's why the FOV is smaller? Can they both be used with the same magnification?

Go to your local Scheels and ask to look trough them. Video doesn't do it justice. The Rattler V2 is the same sensor (25-256 v2), but since you're viewing it at 50hz, it is a BIG difference in processing what your looking at. Was able to see facial features across the store. for sub $1000 Thermal it will work for your average hunter/shooter. I'm mainly looking to use it for coyote hunting and combining it with my nods is gunna be a fun night.

I have a similar question as the guy above. I have a PCP airgun, in Arizona, shooting roof rats at night in my backyard.

So I need to see no further than 20 yards, usually less than 5 yards. I got a 5-20 ATN infrared and it’s unusable in my backyard. So the less magnification the better.

It would seem the TS-19 would be the best choice. But I’m always of the mindset that “more expensive is better”. Am I missing something? Would the larger sensor scopes be any better for such close up work?

Great videos BTW! I’ve watched most of them. I’ve already bought th TS19 but Amazon is having 20% off today so going to buy another TS19 and return it to get my $200 back. So figured I’d make sure there isn’t a better option.

Thanks!

I have a request. Can you do a video on the Flipper device and functions. I purchased one a year ago and just have no idea how to use that thing in a practical manner. I see videos on ways to use it that just don't apply to me. It would be nice to see a functional and practical application video on that device.

Dude absolutely love your videos on this product. I'm seriously looking at getting this product but I do have a question, I have a sig sauer tango 1-6×24 on my AR and I'm wondering if the objective is to small or will I have to change my scope out to something with a bigger objective lens.. thanks again 👍👍👍

Sounds like this may be exactly what I need!

I’m wanting to shoot roof rats at home with my PCP airgun. I have a ATN 4k 5-20 night vision scope and it’s absolutely worthless for what I need it to do. I know that the 5-20, even at 5x, is way too much. (I only got the ATN since I got it for such a great deal -$400 NIB- and it has its uses.)

Can you tell me which would be better (19 vs 25) for my use case? I’d be hunting rats less than 20 yards away. Or is the 25 worth the extra $? Honestly I’d prefer a 1-6 or 2-7 for my application.

Thanks in advance - also from AZ!

This is exactly the video I was looking for. I have a PCP rifle that I use to take down squirrels during the day at home, but I seen other predators in my backyard at around 50 yards. Would I be able to Identify let's say a field mouse from a rabbit under 50 yards at night? I can't decide between Ts19 orTs25, wich one would you recommend for said purposes. Thanks in advance. Cheers for Arizona.
