He was one of my closest friend before we became high school sweethearts, everyone said we were the perfect couple. He went to a military college in the Philippines (PMA), it became a long distance relationship, we were together for almost 3 years. Not much communication because he could only use his phone for few hours only and only every Sunday (school rule for the full scholar students). As if the distance was not enough to make the relationship hard. We would argue back and forth due to trust issues, until one day, one of his classmates reported back to me that they went out to drink on a Sunday, my bf got drunk and his classmate said that he saw a woman went inside my bf's bedroom, and that girl he mentioned had always liked my bf even before. She even had the audacity to tell me that she will take care of my bf (for me daw). That bissshhhh.... I could not handle anymore issues. When I found out about that, I broke up with him, which was a month before I was moving to the United States. He denied everything, he said nothing happened and that he did not remember anything but I just could not trust him anymore after that, on top of the hard long distance relationship. He begged and cried, but I just could not go through with the relationship especially with what happened and the fact that I was leaving to a place so much farther from him. Few years after my big move, one of my ex's classmate admitted that nothing really happened that night between my ex bf and that girl. He said that my bf was actually asleep the whole time even though the woman was making a move on him but he was too drunk to even respond, he passed out and could not possibly have done anything with the girl. He was the perfect boyfriend but we were so young and immature. And it was something I couldn't handle at that time. No one has ever loved me more than him, he did everything for me but I threw away all that because of that false report.
It's been 10 years since we broke up and that was also the last time I saw him, until now, I still wonder, what could have been? What if I forgave him? what if I trusted him more? What if I was more mature to handle things differently? Back then, we talked about getting married, naming our kids, growing old together, our promises that it would be me and him against the world...💔💔💔

But now, he is already happy with someone else and all these questions I have will always linger as my what ifs.... Now I'm paying the price...

"The 10 Year Promise"
My best friend and I made this promise as a joke at the start of our college days. We said to each other "In 10 years, pag single pa tyo tayo nalang". We laughed about it, pero di nya alam seryoso ako sa sinabi ko. Then years passed, we both lived our lives with our own decisions, met different people. 5 years passed and we reconnected, both single so I said "pwede bang 5 years nalang ung promise? Pwede bang tyo nalang ngayon na?" but she said she wasn't ready. So I gave her space and I told her I'll wait. She wanted to concentrate on her job, her family and her priorities and I respected that. I backed off. Then one day she told me na meron ng lalaking nag papasaya saknya, and we promised each other na pag meron ng someone else we'll say it. Pero ang sakit malaman haha.
2015 when we made the promise, we still have 5 years. I told her I would wait. But I think I'm too late. This song really hits you! So when you love someone tell her or him as soon as possible before pa mawala ung tao.

At first, I thought this girl was getting lead roles just because of her looks. But now that I've seen her acting performance in movies and some TV shows, I would say that she has what it takes to be the next big thing. I feel like producers should invest more on her actually. And I think it was pretty smart that she created her YouTube Channel because we all get to see how well rounded she is. The way she presents herself shows me that she is intelligent and elegant. On top of that, she doesn't just have a wonderful singing voice.. I can tell that she has proper technique and that she actually know her stuff when it comes to music. I'm really impressed.
