2D Vortex - FeatureCAM 2014

In FeatureCAM 2014, we now have Delcam's patented Vortex toolpaths. Vortex has been developed by Delcam specifically to gain the maximum benefit from solid carbide tooling, in particular those designs that can give deeper cuts by using the full flute length as the cutting surface.
It can be used for 2 and 3 axis roughing, positional five-axis area clearance and for rest machining based on stock models or reference toolpaths.
While Vortex will be an available strategy for 2.5 Axis features, a 3D HSM license will be required to choose it.
