WHAT IS SELF-TESTING?
Self-testing is a form of antigenic test, to be performed by yourself, using a swab introduced into the nose. To increase the reliability of the test, it is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and to take the swab correctly.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE SELF-TEST?
It is used to screen people who do not have symptoms and who are not contact persons. It allows you to know if you are a carrier of COVID-19 or not, but it is only useful if it is done regularly, for example once or twice a week.

WHEN CAN THE SELF-TEST BE USED?
This test can be used in the context of a group screening (high school, company, etc.) or by an individual at home. By repeating the test, for example once or twice a week, the chances of detecting the virus at the beginning of the disease are increased. In case of symptoms or contact with a person who tested positive for Covid, an RT-PCR or antigenic test should be performed in the laboratory or by a health professional.
