in this video you will watch complete startup procedure of a Diesel electric locomotive, I met 3 persons of Pakistan Railways and these were Drivers instructor, Dirver and assistant driver.
They all shown us about pre startup procedures and after that they start the locomotive,
Locomotive used for startup in this video is called ZCU 20 its Chinese made locomotive and it has 2000HP, its Diesel engine belongs to Caterpillar company. This locomotive mostly travels between Lahore to Rawalpindi sections.
This locomotive used to attach with passenger trains and its performance is very good during the operations.
