I love how on board James is for this series. Guy's literally one of the best voices on Broadway and it's like "Hey wanna sing a sappy gay love duet with a cyborg clown devil having an anxiety attack at a talent show as his big demon daddy?" and he's all "You mean the series where I played a sexy wolf man with a scar that I got all that weird fan art from? ABSOLUTELY!"

Fizz and Ozzie have one of the most adorable relationships in the show, and this song shows exactly why. Anytime Fizz thinks he's unworthy of a deadly sin's affections, Ozzie wastes no time reminding him that he doesn't care about Fizz's stasus or sees his flaws. He only cares about Fizz himself. It's beautiful.

The insecurity and shame when Fizz says "you're a Deadly Sin..." is even sweeter when you realize that Ozzie doesn't give a shit about hierarchical differences. Love knows no bounds and these two fit that perfectly.

I love how this is a song about acceptance. Not “there’s nothing wrong with you you’re perfect”, rather “you’re a mess, I am too, and I love you anyway.”

Something I really love about this is that Ozzie isn't trying to convince Fizz he's not damaged by what he went through. Instead, he's saying "Yeah, you got pretty fucked up... and that's okay. I love you, fucked up horns, scars, and all. It doesn't matter to me". He accepts Fizzarolli as-is, no delusions needed. No pretending he's beautiful, no pretending the scars aren't there.

James' silky as butter-smooth vocals as Ozzie and Alex's gravelly and rough vocals as Fizz both give me so much life, like holy shit. ;-; These two are definitely my favorites in the show for sure, they're just so absolutely wonderful. <3
