For those thinking $10 is expensive for a car wash, it definitely was back when this episode came out, but nowadays, if the cheapest wash for a car wash is less than that, the place is gonna lose money or struggle, especially if its staffed to prep beforehand and dry the cars afterward. The fact of the matter is, to supply the place with the chemicals needed, and not be bottom of the barrel, it'd cost the average tunnel wash around ten grand a month on that alone. There was a place like that near me that refused to raise prices, cheapest was $5, most expensive was $12. The owner ended up having to sell the place because it got to the point he was only making fifteen grand in net profit on a good year.
