example of euglenoid is euglena and red tide is red sea which appears red due to fast reproduction of red dinoflagellates... thankyou sir for this amazing session.... characteristics of euglenoids are:-
1. most of them are fresh water organisms found in stagnant water..
2. they have two flagella, one long and 1 short..
3. instead of cell wall they have a protein rich layer called pellicle which makes them flexible..

1) Red tides are produced by Red dinoflagellete, they divide rapidly and that's why the sea becomes red

hw answer is: Euglenoids are freshwater organisms
they are both autotrophic (photosynthetic) but when deprived of sunlight they act as heterotrophs.
they have protein rich layer called pellicle instead of cell wall.
they have two flagella(one short and one long).
