Nice update....I use our real fine Florida beach sand as well and "stain it" with a wash to the desired color once installed. oh, I "bake" the sand at 200f for an hour to kill off any bugs/bacteria.

crush the left over material up and make it cement, so some laying on the ground, cement plants are quite dusty

Where did you get your big crane and the extra boom kits? Next layout ideas already? Doesn't look like this one is finished yet!

For a pad that big it really wouldn't be worth wasting the tape. Sure you can get a long ruler to smooth it but I noticed it doesn't work as well for some reason.
