WATCH LIVE: King Charles' Royal coronation celebrations at Windsor Castle

WATCH LIVE: Excitement is building ahead of King Charles' Royal coronation.

King Charles III was crowned at Westminster Abbey in a historic Royal coronation on Saturday 6 May and he officially became's Britain's next Monarch after the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The King made his way from London's Buckingham Palace in a Royal procession to Westminster Abbey, where he was crowned in a celebratory ceremony.

Today the coronation celebrations continue with King Charles’ coronation concert taking place tonight.

It will take place at Windsor Castle’s East Lawn in front of a crowd of 20,000 members of the public and invited guests.

The big event kicks off at 8pm and is set to run for two hours, and come to a close at 10pm.
