My 14 .month old is talking in baby language.nothing clear yet and points at things sometimes. He doesn't eat anything. Food he hates. I'm so stressed out.

My child is 14 months old, not even a single word so far.
I started talking almost at 3. We were a bilingual house . I suppose same happens to my child who lives in a bilingual house as well.

At 24 months I noticed that a child is at its prime in all around engagement, what happens when the parent never teachers their child that they will not always want to engage with them? I feel like I learned that the hard way, with my dad being at work and not putting on a smile when he saw me after I turned 13 I took it hard. For about a year I thought my dad didn’t love me because he didn’t come to me for a hug or didn’t ask me how my day was, until I realized that he was working all day and was tired. I’m 18 now and going to college and I have a pretty good outlook on what my purpose is and how I could be a better servant and a loving, son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend.

This was helpful for me. I am a Mom to a baby boy who just turned one year old on 28th of May, 2021. I like the fact that my son can babble a lot. I am keen to know by 1 year age how many words should he be speaking? He is crawling well now and walks with support, for instance, by holding a table, etc. Also, I want to know how much and what kind of foods should I be giving him per day.
