Got your logic backwards there. Barbie existing in the Poppy universe doesn't imply Poppy exists in other universes that have Barbie. It just implies other Mattel products exist in the Poppy universe. Writers can't export their lore into other people's franchises, just import into theirs.

The book just confirms that Mattel and Playtime Co exist in the same universe, Toy Story and all other movies where Barbie appears in all take place in a completely different universe
