*Looked at a lot of options for getting my **Latest.Bike** . Great find in SAVA. Super light, nice components, really good value as it comes with many options only found in much higher priced bikes.*

I must say that I have watched many bike cleaning videos, but I have never seen anyone clean his bike like this! Awesome video!

I'm a mountain biker and I don't mind a bit of dirt on my bike as long as the drivetrain is clean, it adds character and shows you actually ride your bike.

I started using a hybrid ceramic wax and detailer to my routine clean ups and the difference was amazing. So much easier to clean after a ride and the water and dust/dirt just falls off. The shine is amazing and it’s safe on every component I’ve put it on. Made my bikes look brand new and keeps them that way.

Even for something like a bike cleaning video. I feel like i learned more than i would if i took a week long course for any subject matter.

You are an excellent teacher! :)

Thanks for tutorial. Yeah pro teams use high pressure water but they replace components after a major race.

I've been using a Park Chain Cleaning Device for about 4 years and without any detrimental effects on any part of my chain, cassette and chainset.

I think once I get a second chain for both of my road bikes and quick-links, the process will be much easier/efficient. Took me two hours today to wash both of them :D
The paint brush idea and liquid wash in spray bottle is genius. Thanks for the video!

Great video! Been doing this all wrong, by following vids from ex pros, and pro mechanics. They use pressure from a hose, that’s horrible for for bearings. Great info on brake pads! I use wd40, but like the idea of silicone that doesn’t attract dirt. Chain soak in boiling water if you wax, followed by acetone, then wax.

I enjoyed your video and liked the way you describe things so clearly. I really don't mean to be picking faults nor am I trying to belittle your well done efforts, but just two things I found that would improve your presentation. I am a mechanical engineer in my late 70s, one thing that you are taught in your first year of engineering, is that a COG is a gear that always meshes with another gear, as in a gear box, but a SPROCKET is a gear that always meshes with a chain. To be technically correct, the cassette is made up of SPROCKETS. The second thing that troubled me was the use of Silicone spray, I am aware of how very good this product is, but one big problem with it is fluid dynamics and the resultant capillary effects. This can be easily tested by spraying a small area, just a squirt on any surface and checking it in a day or so, you will be amazed at how far it will have spread, it has the highest capillary action of any liquid, meaning that it will eventually cover your brake pads. Please don't take this as a negative as I always watch your very interesting videos, keep up the good work. Maybe I really shouldn't be nit picking.

Very thorough cleaning, good job. Personally i think chain cleaner tools work fine, just spin the crank 50 revolutions, recycle the dirty degreaser (so you can reuse later on when the crap settles at the bottom) into bucket and repeat until it shines. When you want to take a step further, take out the chain and dump into mineral spirits / favorite degreaser, wipe and hang to dry overnight (or outside on a sunny day)

Wow, my procedure was very similar but I still could improve it :-)

If i was an orphant I´d be gladly adopted by you haha... oz videos remind me to my old man explaining me technical stuff when he was still around. he could go on forever with such patience.
