I honestly wish that cinderpelt lasted longer, I wish that they didn’t kill her off in the second series. Though we wouldn’t have cinderheart and the whole cinderpelt and cinderheart thing. She was my favorite character and I wish they did much more with her

I kind of hoped that Cinderpelt would be an elder that everyone took care of, you know, something wholesome like that, and Leafpool would still spend alot of time with her.

I love Cinderpelt's floofyness; I think it fits her! The way that cinderpelt and leafkit are drawn really sets the idea that one is older and more mature, and the other is younger

I feel like the main reason that Cinderheart was put into Cinderpelt was because I feel like she out of all of the medicine cat spirit guides would have never let Jaypaw get forced into being a medicine cat. He wanted to be a warrior like she did and while she would've respected his decision instead of forcing him to become a medicine cat like Spottedleaf did.

Leafpaw/kit was an adorable character and seemed so full of hope and life. Later in the series I felt so bad for how she turned out to be. So many bad things happened. I wish they had expanded on her friendships with other warriors more. I love the speedpaint, it looks awesome!

what a cute scene! feels like something you could have stumbled across while exploring the forest. seeing leafpool so young, before all the bad stuff in her life happens, makes me kind of sad (in a good way). really enjoy seeing your speedpaints.

OMG your style is SO cute. And I'm glad you mentioned it's okay to use references. Just not other people's works. I think when it comes to using others work, that's good for gaining inspiration for a certain angle or lighting, but I think it can actually really hinder an artist cause they'll be drawn to copy that style too. And then you won't be able to find out what YOUR style is. It's all about taking the time to practice.

Whenever you post these speedpaints, I watch it on loop and paint using my own ideas. Usually I paint my own OC's, but once I used one of your speedpaints to paint something for a friend. I love the way you shade :) Can't wait to see more!

i always imagined cinderpelt being long-haired and having pale blue eyes, but i didn’t recognize the cinderpelt plushie bc it looked nothing like how I imagined her

I always think of Cinderpelt as fluffy cat because there weren’t enough in Arc 1. I love the fluffy cats

0:45 yeah + i don't think a car hit would even leave too much of a visible scar. it's not like she got a deep gash, or completely lost her leg... she just kinda. got hit by it.

While this depiction may be outside of book canon, I feel like most of the fandom sees Cinderpelt like how you draw her design. ❤

I mean about scars. I know this is DIFFERENT. But i know a cat that reminds me of Brightheart. Every time i think of that cat, i think of Brightheart.

It was my Cousin’s cat. Got it’s left eye pecked out by a bird, got the left side of it’s face grazed by a shot gun blast from some farmer. And it survived getting ran over twice.

It had a fur-less scar on most of the left side of it’s face & neck. Perhaps Brightheart’s scars are so deep & so bad that they never recovered just like my cousin’s cat.
