I know that Murad has critical aspects (including restoring the fratricide and hypocritical laws such as the ban on drinking wine when he took it himself) but nevertheless Murad IV deserves respect much more than Suleiman I and was one of the most capable rulers of the Ottoman Empire (and he had a very gentle aspect especially with Ayse, although it is clear that he surely enjoyed male company), even if he messed up in amtière of succession with Ibrahim and has a certain responsibility in relation to his behavior (he would not have launched the law of fratricide, surely there would not have been the Ibrahim disaster afterwards, even if Ibrahim I and his dubious allies
also has a great responsibility in his loss).
