But Matt, I’m going to be in my house for thirty years, if healthy. I want a heated greenhouse too. Plus we lose power here occasionally with our brisk Michigan winters. Think I’ll get a second and third opinion.

A typical condenser lasts 10-15 years. But the ground loop lasts 50+ yrs. I dunno...

Wow. Yea ive lost respect for matt. That was a sell out. For a person whos all about being energy conscious. That was crap. Propane is ridiculously expensive. Fyi mu geo system over propane will pay for its self in 12 years or less and thats not even taking into consideration for propane price hikes.

He's right, with an energy efficiant home. How long is it gonna take saving 20 or 30 bucks a month to get back the extra 20grand you spent.
