I bought this device and it is working perfectly fine. It is better to check when engine is completely cooled. Before test start the engine for 10 to 20 seconds just to make engine oil well shaked inside engine oil so that impurities are well mixed. This way we get accurate results

Something a person needs to understand before using this engine oil tester is that the entire length of the probe needs to be inserted in place of the dipstick. You are not going to get an accurate test result unless you do that. Sometimes the metal end of the probe can become stuck against parts inside the engine. It's best to push the probe down into the engine a few times before trying to remove it if that happens. Pulling on the probe with a lot of force will damage the metal end of the probe.

Can we use it to check whether the oil we buy in the market is new and original or a recycled oil? Here we face so many fake recycled oil claimed to be original.

This device would be great for anyone who owns a car. It would be good to know if the oil was actually changed. The display should show 100 percent good if the oil is new. I remember taking my car to a Walmart. I told the mechanic to change the oil and windshield wiper blades. He forgot to change the wiper blades. Those guys are so busy. They might forget to change the oil and filter.

El dispositivo funciona, sin embargo, no lo recomiendo para insertarlo donde se ubica la varilla de aceite del motor, porque se atasca y el usuario tendrá que rezar para poder sacar la sonda arriba nuevamente. Introduje la sonda 10 cm al interior de un motor J20A de Suzuki y probé sacando hacia arriba primero...y no salía la sonda. Recomiendo a Autool achicar el tamaño de la sonda y evitar bordes afilados, como la tuerca por ejemplo, la que se atasca en la culata de aluminio. Mientras tanto tendré que ir a comprar mangueras delgadas y jeringas para poder sacar el aceite desde donde se emplaza la varilla. Hasta dolor de estómago tuve cuando la sonda comenzó a atascarse al interior del motor.

Stupid, Test. Other tests show that all the time shows 100%, so this one, to be good, should test different oil usage
