When rubber bulls first came out in the 60's there were a lot matchups like this. Even the small rubber bulls of the day could push a D8 backwards with no problem on good ground.

I have an old Michigan 280 straight frame dozer that weighs 63, 000 pounds. Has a 8V71 Detroit. I have never matched it with track dozer, but on solid ground, it will push HARD.
BTW, mine has a locking diff in the front. I'm surprised the one in this video doesn't.

Kinda silly cause the D 6 has its blade up!!! At the same height the 824 would not had any trouble pushing the D6. We had a 380 Michigan that on solid ground would out do a D8 any day of the week! I know cause I loaded 631s with both!
