Question! I open my coinbasa, click on transfer, click on transfer to crypto address and instead of the next step you mention where it gives you the option to put in an amount, it wants me to install the coinbase wallet. What am I doing wrong? BTW I'm trying to do this on my phone

I STRONGLY URGE everyone to send the lowest amount that your exchange will allow as a test, to make sure you don't screw it up and accidentally send it to a wrong address. If you send your crypto to the wrong address, it's gone forever. So confirm your tiny deposit was successful and if so, send the full amount that you want to send. I still do that, even though I'm not new at this. It's a precautionary practice.

mini story I help 2 friend with their coinbase and I dont have coinbase but the platform block their banks and they sent a large amount of money and we were 3 week in the chat with coinbase until they unfroze the money but funny they flag the bank so they cant send the money back to the account and well I help them create an account on another place to send their crypto and finally they feel safe.

defenetly I send them your code and let them know to move it to a cold wallet.

do you have video of this issues because sound like a good content like every problem in coinbase or platform to motivate more people to have cold wallets.

I have a quick question I can’t seem to find the answer to, if I use an tangem cold wallet and only use Coinbase as an exchange, when I transfer the crypto back to the exchange to sell it or swap it etc, does Coinbase keep track of my previous purchase levels for tax purposes? Correct me if I'm in the wrong.. If one buys crypto on the market, they get to transfer that crypto to a offline wallet, away from the market.. If the price of that asset becomes lucrative and the holder wants to sell some of the assets, they then transfer them to the market (e.g. coinbase) so they could be sold
