First time being able to drive with the 5.42 FD ratio; as soon as I started to get a feel for it. My clutch started slipping; but despite that it didn't stop me from setting a new PB of 2:12.8.

Fcking love this 👍 reminds me of my first track day ever 15 years ago. Clutch was slipping on my first S2k in the second session of the day and I kept ripping...barely could get up to highway speeds on the way home 🤣

Why do you think the clutch starts slipping on the track? I went to my first track day in an NC miata and my clutch started slipping after 8 minutes of hard laps. It is a stock clutch so I'm not too shocked, but it's mostly stock power so I thought it would hold. I am wondering if I upgrade to a stronger clutch, will it still start slipping as it heats up from over aggressive shifting?
